New Delhi: Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who was released from Tihar Jail after 17 months, reached Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place on Saturday morning. As per his today’s program, he will reach Rajghat in some time and pay tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
After worshiping in the temple, Sisodia said “Bajrang Bali has blessed me. Arvind Kejriwal is very blessed by Bajrang Bali. He will also get the blessings of Bajrang Bali in the same way.” AAP leader was released from Tihar jail last night after which he met his family and also reached Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.
AAP said that Manish Sisodia will also visit the Aam Aadmi Party office this afternoon. He will address the workers after meeting the leaders.
Today, he shared a selfie along with his wife with tea cups in their hands. In the post on X, he said, “First-morning tea after independence…..after 17 months! The freedom that the Constitution has given to all of us Indians as a guarantee of the right to live. The freedom that God has given us to breathe in the open air with everyone.”

Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on 26 February 2023 and by the ED on 9 March 2023 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy scam. After 17 months, the Supreme Court granted him bail in both the cases on Friday.
