Mathura: In the Jaint area of Mathura, anger erupted among people after the discovery of cow remains. Enraged individuals blocked the Mathura-Vrindavan road upon seeing the remains. The police arrived at the scene soon after receiving reports of the roadblock and began trying to reason with the protesters.
On Friday morning, when some individuals went to the forests near PMV College on the Mathura-Vrindavan road, they found several cows lying dead and others with remains scattered nearby. The sight incited outrage among the people, prompting them to inform cow protection groups and various Hindu organizations.
After hearing about the dead cows and remains, hundreds of cow protectors and officials from Hindu nationalist organizations rushed to the site. The agitated crowd then blocked the Mathura-Vrindavan road, causing long queues of vehicles on both sides.
