Mumbai: The latest Mumbai weather forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) indicates that the city and its suburbs will experience mostly cloudy skies with occasional light to moderate rain throughout the day.

Temperature and Tides

At Santacruz, the maximum temperature recorded was 31.7°C, while the minimum was 27.9°C. Similarly, Colaba saw a high of 31°C and a low of 26.2°C. Today’s high tide is expected at 4.75 meters at 12:55 PM, followed by another high of 4.07 meters at 12:41 AM on June 27. Low tide will occur at 7:02 PM today at 1.60 meters and at 6:42 AM tomorrow at 0.37 meters.

Rainfall and Water Levels

Between June 25 and 26, the island city received 0.60 mm of rain, whereas the eastern suburbs recorded 6.80 mm and the western suburbs 2.65 mm. Heavy rainfall in catchment areas has increased water levels in reservoirs supplying Mumbai’s drinking water. The combined storage in the city’s seven reservoirs is now at 35.97% of total capacity, totaling 5,20,614 million liters.

Reservoir Status

Water levels in key reservoirs are as follows: Tansa (39.62%), Modak Sagar (54.09%), Middle Vaitarna (37.72%), Upper Vaitarna (41.66%), Bhatsa (29.42%), Vehar (41.92%), and Tulsi (40.09%). These reservoirs supply water to the western suburbs from Dahisar Check Naka to Bandra, and the eastern suburbs from Mulund Check Naka to Sion and Mazagaon.
