"New India took revenge": Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini at Tiranga Yatra rally

Haryana: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini participated in the Tiranga Yatra rally in Ladwa on Saturday, organized to honor the Indian armed forces and their recent actions under Operation Sindoor.

During his speech, CM Saini stated, “This was not a war, but a response from the new India. Our forces didn’t just fire missiles; they sent a message that is resonating across America and China.” Emphasizing India’s stance against cross-border terrorism, he added, “This showcases the strength of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s India. Whenever Pakistan has attempted to foster terrorism, our forces have responded by crossing into Pakistan and retaliating.” He also quoted Modi’s slogan, “Now is the time to eliminate terrorism from its roots.”

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also lauded the armed forces for their successful execution of Operation Sindoor, praising their bravery in destroying terror sites in Pakistan. He said, “Under PM Modi’s leadership, our Army, Navy, and Air Force displayed immense bravery, destroying terror camps and eliminating over 100 terrorists. The operation was a success.” Dhami added that in Uttarakhand, every family is like a soldier and the people are grateful to the armed forces.

He described the Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra as more than just a rally — it’s an opportunity to honor and salute the courage of India’s military. Earlier, Dhami led the ‘Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra’ in Nainital’s Haldwani to celebrate the armed forces and the success of Operation Sindoor.

Yesterday, the state Council of Ministers unanimously passed a resolution congratulating the Indian Army, Prime Minister Modi, and the Defence Ministry for the triumph of Operation Sindoor. The resolution highlighted the operation as a display of India’s courage, valor, and strategic skill, characterizing it as a proud chapter in India’s military history and an inspiration for future generations.

The BJP’s ‘Tiranga Yatra,’ launched on May 13, is scheduled to continue until May 23, covering states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Dibrugarh, Srinagar, and Odisha. The event aims to thank India’s armed forces and Prime Minister Modi for the success of Operation Sindoor.

Following the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 people dead, including a Nepali national, India intensified its offensive against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. On May 7, the Indian forces launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoJK, resulting in the elimination of nearly 100 terrorists at key locations such as Bhawalpur (Jaish’s headquarters) and Muridke (a Lashkar training camp). After these strikes, an agreement on a temporary ceasefire between India and Pakistan was announced on May 10.
