New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his reflections on social media regarding the conclusion of the Maha Kumbh, calling it a “Maha Yagya of unity.” He expressed his admiration for the unity demonstrated by the 1.4 billion people who participated in the 45-day event in Prayagraj.

In his post on X, Modi highlighted the overwhelming display of faith as the country came together for this significant festival. He linked to his blog titled “Maha Kumbh of unity, the sound of change of era,” where he elaborated on his thoughts. He described the event as a symbolic awakening of the nation’s consciousness, marking the end of centuries of subjugation and the beginning of a new era.

Modi noted that the Maha Kumbh was a gathering of diverse groups—gods, saints, children, the elderly, women, and youth—united in their devotion. He emphasized the importance of unity and harmony, referencing the historical meeting of Lord Shri Ram and Nishadraj at Shringaverpur as a symbol of that spirit.

He remarked on the massive turnout, stating it was a subject of study for modern management professionals and planners, as no other event in the world compares to the scale of the Kumbh. Modi praised the participation of youth, believing it signified their commitment to carrying forward India’s values and culture.

The Prime Minister reflected on the unprecedented participation, which exceeded expectations and set new records. He expressed that this event laid a foundation for future generations and showcased India’s rich heritage and potential for development. Modi emphasized the need for unity in the pursuit of a developed India, drawing parallels between the Kumbh and the historical deliberations of sages and saints.

He also highlighted the responsibility of every Indian to maintain the cleanliness of rivers, connecting it to their life journey. Modi thanked the Yogi Adityanath government and the people of Uttar Pradesh for their efforts in making the Maha Kumbh a success, acknowledging the dedication of all involved.

Concluding his thoughts, Modi expressed his strengthened faith in the nation’s bright future, inspired by the collective spirit of the people during the Maha Kumbh. He affirmed that while the physical event has ended, the spiritual unity and consciousness it fostered would continue to thrive.
