New Delhi : The controversy arising from the statement of former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi in the case of terrorist attack on the Air Force convoy in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir is not ending. Channi is the Congress candidate from Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat.
Politics has heated up in the state after PM Modi’s comment on his controversial statement.
Channi said that Congress always has sympathies towards the martyrs and will continue to do so. This issue is not about politics. Our government has always stood firm in front of Pakistan. Channi said- If the country has become independent today, it is because of Congress. Channi said- BJP will do anything to win elections.

PM Narendra Modi had said that when Congress had no other issues left, they started making false allegations. Without taking Channi’s name, PM Modi said that a former Congress CM says that the attack on the army was a stunt. This reveals the mentality of Congress. Congress sings the praises of Pakistan every time after victory. From this, Congress’s intentions towards the country are clearly visible. After which politics became heated in the state.
Channi had called Poonch attack a stunt of BJP
Let us tell you that former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi had said that the Poonch attack is a stunt of BJP. Every time the central government has been doing such drama. These are pre-planned stunts and have been done to make BJP win. It is the job of BJP to kill people and play with their dead bodies.
However, Congress candidate Charanjit Singh Channi had given a clarification some time after the controversial statement. Then Channi had said that my statement was distorted. What I meant to say was that a similar attack had taken place during the last Lok Sabha elections also. However, it was not investigated by BJP and till now it is not known who were involved in the said attack.
