Premanand Maharaj used to start his padayatra at 2:00 in the night, in which thousands of devotees used to visit him and the padayatra used to start from his house to the ashram. At that time, thousands of devotees used to stand on the roadside to visit Premanand Maharaj, but now devotees will not be able to visit this padayatra. The biggest reason for this is said to be Premanand Maharaj’s ill health.
Premanand Maharaj’s journey stopped
His padyatra has been stopped indefinitely. This information has been received from Premanand Maharaj’s social media platform Vrindavan Ras Mahima. Where a post has been put on his behalf, in which it is written that all of you are informed that in view of the health of Pujya Maharaj ji and the increasing crowd, the yatra starting from 2 o’clock in the night has been stopped indefinitely. However, let us tell you that one of the main reasons behind the indefinite closure of the yatra is also believed to be the protests.
A few days ago, a large number of people used to be present at the place where Premanand Maharaj’s padayatra used to pass. Due to which the road used to get blocked and people used to play bhajans and drums. The sound of which was so loud that the local people living there started having a lot of trouble. Regarding this, the people of NRI Green Society protested against Maharaj and the women protested against the padayatra being taken out by Maharaj by holding placards in their hands.
Premananda Maharaj had given assurance
After the protest, Premanand Maharaj’s group had a conversation with all those who had protested against Maharaj. During this, Maharaj had assured that all these drums, music etc. will be stopped and they will not face any kind of trouble.
