On Sunday evening, people gathered in Ward 5’s Palam Vihar and New Palam Vihar under the leadership of social worker Rakesh Rana and took out a candle march on the main roads and streets.
The protesters raised slogans against Pakistan carrying pamphlets and banners in their hands. During the march, people raised slogans against terrorism and Pakistan Murdabad. The women involved in the protest condemned the Pahalgam attack. They said that the terrorists killed innocent people after asking their religion.
Demand for strict action from Indian Government
The protesters demanded the Indian government to take strict action against Pakistan. Rakesh Rana said that the terrorists should be found and punished. Pakistan is continuously killing innocent people in India. Therefore, it is necessary to teach it a lesson now.

He told that this candle march started from Sai Kunj and ended at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park. All the workers, women and elders of BJP Mandal together raised slogans of Bharat Mata and Vande Mataram. After this, candles were lit in front of the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and prayers were offered to God for the peace of the souls of all the martyrs who were martyred in Pahalgam.

People appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take revenge for this inhuman act of terrorism.
