Roadmap being prepared to fulfil all our promises: Delhi Minister Indraj Singh

New Delhi: Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh stated on Saturday that the newly-elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is developing a plan to implement all the commitments made in its manifesto for the national capital. In an interview, Singh criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for their opposition and asserted that the BJP will provide answers through the fulfillment of its promises.

He mentioned, “A roadmap is in the works for all the initiatives outlined in our manifesto… Today, all seven ministers in Delhi will be on-site to address the remaining tasks… AAP will inevitably receive answers as the BJP delivers on everything promised.”

Additionally, the ‘Modi Story’ shared a video on Instagram praising the new BJP government’s efforts, highlighting that the clean-up of the Yamuna River began even before the government officially took office. The BJP has regained power in Delhi after a 27-year gap, and just days before Rekha Gupta was set to become Chief Minister, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena held a meeting that led to a directive for the Yamuna’s cleanup.

The ‘Modi Story’ noted that PM Modi has pledged to make the Yamuna a defining feature of the national capital, framing this initiative as part of his legacy of decisive action. The post referenced Modi’s swift actions upon becoming Gujarat’s Chief Minister in 2001, where he immediately initiated the release of Narmada waters into the Sabarmati River, marking the start of the notable Sabarmati Riverfront project.

Earlier, Rekha Gupta, along with her ministerial colleagues and BJP leaders, participated in an evening aarti ceremony along the banks of the Yamuna, attended by Delhi BJP chief Virendraa Sachdeva. Pollution in the Yamuna was a significant topic during the Delhi Assembly elections, with various political parties criticizing one another over issues like pollution, encroachments, and flood management.
