Ghaziabad: In a dramatic incident at the Ghaziabad court today, a clash broke out between lawyers and police following heated argument between Lawyers and Judge.
The visuals of ruckus within the courtroom in Ghaziabad have surfaced on social media showing the police personnel resorting to a lathi charge.
Chairs were also hurled in the courtroom as police tried to bring the situation under control.
According to reports, the clash was triggered by a dispute over bail between the district judge and the lawyers, prompting them to surround the judge’s chamber. The situation quickly escalated as police intervened, with a police officer captured in camera while chasing the lawyers with a chair in hand.
According to reports, an argument broke out between the district judge and lawyers over bail, after which a large number of lawyers gathered. When the police were informed about this, they arrived at the scene and began forcefully removing the lawyers. During this, a police officer was seen chasing the lawyers with a chair in hand.
Enraged by the police action, lawyers staged a protest outside the court, vandalized a police post within the court complex, and shouted slogans against the judge. Meanwhile, the judges have also stopped their work in protest against the misconduct.
