Mumbai: Today, on 29th August, Sensex made a new all-time high of 82,220 and Nifty of 25,174. Currently, Sensex is trading at 82,100 level with a gain of more than 400 points.
At the same time, Nifty is also up by 90 points and is trading at 25,140 level. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 are up and 10 are down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 32 are up and 18 are down. Buying is being seen in FMCG, IT, banking, and financial services stocks.
In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei is down by 0.39% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is down by 0.86%. China’s Shanghai Composite is down by 0.61% and Korea’s Kospi is down by 0.75%. According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹1,347.53 crore on August 28. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹439.35 crore.
On August 28, the US market’s Dow Jones closed 0.39% down at 41,091. Nasdaq fell 1.12%, closing at 17,556. S&P500 closed 0.60% down at 5,592.

The IPO was subscribed 4.37 times in the retail category, 1.37 times in the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category and 19.35 times in the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category.
