Three kids found dead at home in Telangana, mother hospitalised

Hyderabad: In Ameenpur, Sangareddy district near Hyderabad, three children were discovered dead under suspicious circumstances early Friday morning. The children’s mother has been hospitalized for treatment.

According to police reports, the mother began experiencing stomach pain around 3 a.m., prompting her husband, Chennaiah, to rush her to a hospital with the help of neighbors. Upon returning home, Chennaiah found their three children—Sai Krishna (12), Madhu Priya (10), and Gautam (8)—dead.

Authorities have moved the children’s bodies to a local government hospital for autopsy and have initiated an investigation into the deaths, suspecting foul play. Sangareddy district Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj, along with other senior officials, visited the scene in Raghavendra Nagar.

The mother, currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Beeramguda, mentioned that she and her children consumed curd and rice for dinner on Thursday night. Police are exploring whether the deaths resulted from food poisoning or if the mother may have poisoned the children and attempted suicide due to family issues.

In a separate incident in the same district, two migrant workers were found dead in an agricultural well in Paidigummal village, Kohir mandal. Baidyanath Bhat from Uttar Pradesh and Hari Singh from Odisha had been missing since March 10, leading to a missing persons report filed with Kohir Police Station on March 13. The bodies were retrieved from the well and sent for autopsy, with police investigating whether the deaths were accidental or involved foul play, questioning several individuals associated with the real estate venture where the workers were last seen.
