Tirupati Prasadam Laddu Controversy: Andhra Pradesh High Court to address matter today

The Andhra Pradesh High Court will hear the Tirupati Prasadam (laddu) controversy today. YSR Congress has asked the court to form a committee to investigate Naidu’s allegations.

CM Chandrababu Naidu had alleged on September 18 that vegetable oil and fish oil containing animal fat were mixed in the Tirupati temple’s laddus during the YSR Congress government. The next day, TDP claimed to have confirmed its allegations by showing a lab report.

On Monday, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy filed a petition in the Supreme Court. He has also demanded an investigation under the supervision of the court.

However, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed on Sunday for the investigation. CM Chandrababu Naidu said that the SIT will submit a report to the government. Action will be taken on this basis so that such things do not happen again.
