Two terrorists arrested by security forces in Poonch; grenades, pistol recovered

ADGP Anand Jain of Jammu Police said that during interrogation it was revealed that both the terrorists were planning to throw grenades at temples, army bases, and a hospital.

Poonch: Security forces arrested 2 terrorists in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning. 3 grenades and 1 pistol were also recovered from them. Army officials said that both of them are hybrid terrorists associated with an organization called Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force.

Hybrid terrorists live in the area like ordinary citizens, but secretly get involved in terrorist activities or help terrorists. Thus they live among ordinary citizens It becomes difficult for personnel to identify them.

They also used to paste anti-national posters in Poonch to create fear among the people. These terrorists were in contact with terrorists sitting in Pakistan across the border.

Earlier On September 27, the police exposed the terror module in Avantipora of Pulwama. Police arrested 6 terrorist associates of Jaish-e-Mohammed. They used to train youth in terrorism. 5 IEDs, 30 detonators, 17 IED batteries, 2 pistols, 3 magazines, 25 rounds, 4 hand grenades and Rs 20,000 cash were recovered from them.
