Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visits Nirman Bhawan; advises employees to work in “public interest”

New Delhi: Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda today visited various offices of the Ministry of Health located at Nirman Bhawan. During the visit, he inspected the Record Room, Registry Room, Health Observatory and various divisions of the Ministry.

Nadda interacted with the officers and staff on the occasion and took stock of their work. Motivating the staff, he said that the aim of government services is to serve the public and in this direction everyone should work with a citizen-friendly approach in “Jan Hita”.

The Minister appreciated the process of maintenance of documents and record management in the Record Room and Registry Room. He directed the officials to keep the records organized and updated so that any information is available immediately when required. At the Health Observatory, he inspected the process of data collection and analysis and gave suggestions to make it more effective.

Nadda personally met the staff working in various divisions and heard their problems and suggestions. He assured that the Ministry will take all possible steps to improve the facilities and working environment of the staff.

Nadda stressed that it is necessary to ensure transparency and accountability in the functioning of the Ministry. “To gain the trust of the public, we must maintain transparency and honesty in our work.

The Minister finally expressed his appreciation to all the employees for their dedication and hard work and encouraged them to continue performing their duties with the same zeal and dedication.

Through this visit, Nadda not only inspected the functioning of the Ministry but also tried to motivate the employees and re-establish the importance of public service. He hoped that all the members of the Health Ministry will discharge their duties with full devotion and commitment in serving the citizens.
