Shahjahanpur (UP): A second-year MBBS student from a private medical college was discovered dead on campus under suspicious circumstances in Shahjahanpur district, according to police reports on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Kushagra Pratap Singh, a student at Varun Arjun Medical College.

Colonel (retired) Dr. Ravindra Nath Shukla, the college principal, stated, “He was a second-year MBBS student at the college and a resident of Gorakhpur. His body was found behind the hostel today, prompting the police to be notified.”

The student resided on the ground floor of the three-storey hostel. Superintendent of Police Rajesh S mentioned that it initially seems he may have either fallen or been pushed. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, and the police confirmed that an investigation is ongoing.
