Preparations for the Char Dham Yatra are in the final stages. The journey will begin with the opening of the doors of Gangotri-Yamunotri Dham from April 30. The arrival of pilgrims will also begin on April 28.
So far, 19 lakh 30 thousand devotees have registered for darshan in the four Dhams, this is the online figure. Offline counters will be opened in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Vikas Nagar and Herbertpur from April 28.
This time, foreign citizens are also excited to visit the four Dhams. So far, more than 17 thousand foreign citizens have also registered for the journey.
This includes citizens of 103 countries, including the United States of America, Nepal, Malaysia, United Kingdom.
Foreign citizens have registered 6100 for Kedarnath Dham, 4800 for Badrinath, 2750 for Yamunotri, and 3150 for Gangotri Dham.
The special thing is that this time everyone is very excited about the Yatra. Children, old people, women,n and youth are eager to come on the Yatra. This year 62 people above 90 years of age have registered for the Char Dham Yatra.
While the number of children up to 5 years of age coming with their families is more than 14000. The number of people above 60 years of age is more than 2.58 lakh. Around 3.30 lakh devotees between 21 to 30 years of age have registered.
