Uttarakhand CM Dhami takes feedback on govt schemes from locals of Hanol

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami engaged with residents of Hanol in Dehradun district, gathering feedback on various government initiatives. He also held discussions with officials about plans to revitalize the Mahasu Devta temple area, urging them to accelerate the project.

During his morning walk through Hanol, CM Dhami encountered schoolgirls on their way to an examination and wished them success. He reaffirmed the government’s dedication to preserving and promoting the cultural and religious heritage of Jaunsar Bawar, emphasizing that effective schemes are in place for the community’s development.

This visit marks the second day of CM Dhami’s tour in Jaunsar Bawar. On the first day, he announced plans to promote homestays in the Hanol region to enhance local employment opportunities. While visiting the Mahasu Maharaj and Bashik Maharaj Mahendrath temples, he underscored the significance of sustainable tourism and cultural preservation.

The CM expressed his commitment to promoting homestays in Hanol, aiming to create job opportunities for locals, and emphasized the need to showcase the culture of Jaunsar Bawar. He also offered prayers at the temples, seeking prosperity and progress for the state, and interacted with local residents to gather insights on the development schemes in place.

Additionally, he solicited suggestions from villagers regarding the reconstruction of the Mahasu Maharaj temple complex, promising that the redevelopment would reflect their sentiments. CM Dhami reviewed the master plan for the Mahasu Maharaj, Pavasi Maharaj, and Bashik Maharaj temples, stating, “We must make the Mahasu Maharaj complex grand and divine, ensuring that devotees from across the country can easily visit in the future.”
