Dehradun, June 3: The weather will remain bad in most districts of Uttarakhand even today. Meteorologists have issued warnings of rain and strong winds in most parts of the state. While heavy rain is expected in some parts of Dehradun, Pauri and Rudraprayag districts. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has advised people living near rivers and streams to remain alert.

The weather has deteriorated since the beginning of June

The weather in the state has deteriorated since the beginning of June. Rain continues throughout the state. Due to this, a huge drop in temperature has also been recorded. Today also, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain and strong winds for Dehradun. While an orange alert has been issued for Rudraprayag and Pauri districts.

The weather will remain bad for the next three days

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with thunder in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Tehri, Pauri, Champawat, Bageshwar, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Almora and Haridwar Udham Singh Nagar districts. According to the Meteorological Department, changes in the weather can be seen in the state for the next 2 to 3 days. That is, after June 6, the weather will be dry across the state and people are expected to get relief from rain.

Temperatures dropped from the plains to the mountains

Due to the continuous rain, a huge drop in temperature has been recorded. If we look at the data, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 32.9 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees below normal. While the minimum night temperature was also 2 degrees below normal, at 19.8 degrees Celsius. A huge drop in the normal temperature is being seen in the hilly areas. The maximum temperature of Tehri was 19.6 degrees while the minimum temperature was 13.02 degrees.
