Non-compliance with ED Summons: Delhi Court directs CM Kejriwal to appear on March 16

New Delhi: Rouse Avenue Court has issued a fresh summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear physically in the court. The court has issued orders on the complaint of the Enforcement Directorate. Kejriwal has been directed to appear on March 16 in the court physically.

Enforcement Directorate has complained for the second time against Delhi CM for not complying with the summons issued and helping with the investigation.

ED has issued summons to Delhi CM in the alleged Delhi Liquor policy money laundering case.

The ED, on January 31, issued summons to CM Kejriwal for the fifth time, and he was told to appear before it on February 2. The financial probe agency’s complaint alleged that the CM intentionally did not want to obey the summons and kept on giving “lame excuses”.

I will stop getting summons if I join BJP: Arvind Kejriwal

In the latest tweet by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal he said, “This is the truth of ED and Modi government. How people are included in BJP by getting harassed by ED. After getting the ED raid done, the question is asked – where will you go – BJP or jail? Those who refuse to go to BJP, they send them to jail. If Satyendar Jain, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh join BJP today, they will get bail tomorrow itself.”
