Doctor held for raping woman patient in Indore

Pihowa: The Anti-Narcotic Cell has arrested two accused on charges of drug trafficking. A large quantity of opium was also recovered from their possession. The accused have been identified as Satpal, a resident of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, and Jeetram, a resident of Solan.

Major action by Anti-Narcotic Cell
A case has been registered against both of them under the NDPS Act at Ismailabad police station. A police spokesperson stated that on March 19, a team led by Anti-Narcotics Cell in-charge Sub-Inspector Satwinder Singh was on patrol near village Tabra on NH-152.

Blockade conducted based on information
Meanwhile, a tip-off was received that Satpal, a resident of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, and Jeetram, a resident of Solan, were transporting a large quantity of poppy husk (doda) and poppy husk (churaposta) in a canter.

Based on the information, police set up a blockade near Jalbehra and began checking vehicles.

More than 6 quintals of poppy husk recovered
A short while later, a suspicious canter was seen approaching, and it was stopped and searched. The driver identified himself as Satpal, and the cleaner identified himself as Jeetram.

Upon a search in the presence of a gazetted officer, 6 quintals 92 kg 907 grams of poppy husk was recovered from the canter, estimated to be worth approximately ₹50 lakh in the international market.

Case registered under the NDPS Act
Police have registered a case against both accused under the NDPS Act and arrested them. The matter is being further investigated.
