Cases ongoing in High Court and District Court
After the dispute between Jyoti Maurya and her husband Alok, cases are ongoing in the District Court of Prayagraj and the Allahabad High Court. In the Allahabad High Court, Alok Maurya has filed a petition demanding maintenance allowance from his wife. Meanwhile, Jyoti Maurya has filed an application in the district court to get rid of her husband.
Both daughters are also living with Jyoti Maurya in Ghaziabad while studying. Whereas Alok Maurya is working as a sweeper in the Panchayati Raj Department in Pratapgarh. He is also preparing for the UPSC’s Review Officer, Assistant Review Officer, and PCS recruitment examinations.
In addition, Alok Maurya has been continuously demanding the formation of a Men’s Commission. Regarding this, he has also met with the State Women’s Commission. He has written letters to the President, Prime Minister, and the Chief Minister.

Following this, a rumor spread that Alok had been selected for the SDM post. Along with Alok’s photo, the line ‘Refusing my love, now you will see my revenge’ started being widely shared. However, it later became clear that he had gone to congratulate his friend Ankit Pandey on his selection.
The exact story
Alok Maurya is from Azamgarh, while Jyoti is from Varanasi. The two got married about 15 years ago in 2010. Before this, in 2009, Alok was selected as a fourth-class employee in the Panchayati Raj Department.
Within 2 years of their marriage, Jyoti Maurya became a government teacher. Even after getting the teaching job, her preparation for competitive exams continued. She was also selected for the post of Review Officer in the Secretariat.
Then she was selected in SSC as well. However, she did not join because the posting was in Maharashtra. In 2015, Jyoti was selected for UP-PCS. She became an SDM. In the same year, she also became the mother of twins.
The relationship between husband and wife started deteriorating since the year 2014. Jyoti Maurya and Alok’s relationship had started getting worse since 2014. In 2015, after having two daughters, bitterness in their relationship increased further. All this continued until the year 2020. Then suddenly Alok leaked some messages. In them, he made several serious allegations against his wife Jyoti.
Jyoti had spoken well of her in-laws. Despite the quarrels with her husband Alok, Jyoti had said that she never had any complaints about her in-laws. They are very good people. Whatever difficulties there were, they were because of Alok. I endured a lot in life because of Alok.
