Bihar: PM inaugurated the 6 lane Auntha-Simaria bridge built on the Ganga river in Begusarai. The Prime Minister walked on the bridge with Nitish Kumar. He removed the towel from his neck and waved it with his hand to greet the people.
During this time, Union Minister Giriraj Singh and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary were also present with him. Cultural programs were held to welcome the Prime Minister at the ghat built under the bridge.
Crowds of people were also seen on the ghats to see the PM. The Prime Minister stayed on the bridge for about 37 minutes.
13000 crore worth of schemes launched from Gayaji
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched schemes worth Rs 13000 crore in Gayaji. In his 34-minute speech at the campus of Magadh University, he targeted Congress and RJD. He listed the achievements of the government. He also talked about terrorism and infiltration.
PM said- ‘We will expel the infiltrators from the country. We will not let them usurp your rights. Congress-RJD are standing with the infiltrators.’
‘Earlier people used to sign files while sitting in jail. We have brought such a bill which includes the PM as well. He will lose his post as soon as he is arrested.’
‘Earlier it was difficult to go anywhere in Bihar in the evening. Cities like Gayaji used to be immersed in darkness during the lantern rule. There was no education, no employment. How many generations of Bihar were forced to migrate by these people.’
