New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva announced that on the auspicious occasion of Saptami Navratri on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the party’s new office in the national capital.
Foundation Stone Laid by JP Nadda
Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Sachdeva congratulated Delhi BJP workers on the completion of the new office.
He recalled that the foundation stone was laid by BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda on June 9, 2023.
Sachdeva described the inauguration as a “historic moment” for the party.
BJP’s Journey in Delhi
“After the BJP’s founding, the first office was opened at Ajmeri Gate. Later, it functioned from Rakabganj Road, and then for almost 35 years from 14 Pandit Pant Marg. Now, the party has its own building on Deendayal Upadhyay Marg. This journey has been full of challenges but also remarkable,” Sachdeva said.
He added that every BJP worker is grateful to PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and JP Nadda for their visionary leadership.
Mission to Build Offices Across the Country
Sachdeva noted that under their guidance, the party set a goal to establish offices in every state capital and district. As part of this initiative, land disputes for the Delhi state office were resolved, construction completed, and now all 14 organizational districts of Delhi have their own offices.
Grand Inauguration Event
The inauguration will be attended by PM Modi, JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, senior and veteran Delhi BJP leaders, several Union Ministers, national office-bearers, MPs, MLAs, councillors, and thousands of party workers.
The press conference was conducted by Delhi BJP Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor, in the presence of State General Secretary MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat and Media Relations Head Vikram Mittal.
