A huge fire broke out in a factory on RK Road in Ludhiana today. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit. Passersby saw the fire and immediately informed the labourers working inside the factory. The labourers immediately ran away from the factory and saved their lives. People immediately informed the fire brigade.
About half an hour after the fire broke out, fire brigade officials reached the spot and started the rescue operation. With the help of people, goods were taken out from the shops outside the factory. Laborers were also safely evacuated from the nearby factories.
Flames seen from a distance
Giving information, the fireman said that when he reached the spot, the factory was on fire. The factory is in the name of CL Pattern Makers. The flames of the fire were visible from a distance and about 8 to 10 fire brigade vehicles were engaged in extinguishing the fire. Due to the fire, a lot of material in the factory was burnt to ashes.
The firefighters climbed the nearby buildings and doused the fire by spraying water. Due to the fire, a lot of the factory’s goods were reduced to ashes.
