A woman who came to the town’s community health center for delivery and her unborn child died. The family has accused the hospital doctors of negligence. Sandeep, a resident of Lajwana Kalan village, said that his younger brother’s wife, 30-year-old Sweety, was expecting her third child.
The woman was brought to the Julana Community Health Center around 11 a.m. on Monday while in labor. Doctors diagnosed her with high blood pressure.
The doctors gave the woman an injection and asked her to wait for half an hour. After some time, Sweety complained of a severe headache. The family went to the doctor, but he didn’t arrive, and she died after foaming at the mouth.
The baby died in the womb. Sweety’s death left two children without a mother. Sweety already has a seven-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son. Sweety was expecting her third child. Doctors had given a delivery date of October 27th, but the woman died before the delivery.
Ten days ago, the woman was taken to PGI Rohtak for dental treatment, but due to high blood pressure, she was given medication. This morning, the woman returned to the hospital. She developed a problem due to her high blood pressure. During treatment, she suffered a seizure and died.
