Mumbai: TV actress Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary opened up about stepping into her iconic role in Naagin 7 and how she handles comparisons to the show’s previous heroines.
Focus on performance, not affected by comparisons
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Priyanka said she focuses on giving her 100% to her character, accepting the challenge while also respecting the show’s legacy. On the question of comparisons, she said:
“Yes, there will definitely be comparisons, and that’s normal. I think it should be taken positively because comparisons happen everywhere. There have been many iconic Naagins over the six seasons of the show, and we’re putting in our best efforts in Season 7 as well.”
She also said that her approach is simple—to play the character with honesty and carry forward the show’s legacy.
