Jalandhar/Phagwara (Punjab): Today the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan/ Mid Day Meal Office Employees Union and Special Teachers Union leaders have met with Cabinet Minister Braham Shankar Jimpa regarding their demands of regularisation and pay anomaly.
Union leaders Shobit Bhagat, Gagandeep Sharma, and Lalit Mishra said that they went to meet Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at Konica Resort in Phagwara for their legitimate demands. However, the administration stopped them from meeting the Chief Minister. When the employees expressed their anger, they were introduced to Cabinet Minister Braham Shankar Jimpa on the spot.
Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa listened to the demands of the employees. On the Spot he made the call and spoke to Finance Secretary Madam Gurpreet Kaur Sapra. Minister Jimpa has given the instructions to clear the pending file as soon as possible
Employees said that their main demands are to fix CSR rules in the education department and regularise them. The government rectify the salary anomaly from September 2020.
