On the occasion of Eid, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the Eidgah in Malerkotla. After offering the Eid prayers, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann extended his Eid greetings to the Muslim community across Punjab.
The CM remarked that visiting the Eidgah brought him a sense of peace. He noted that on the occasion of Eid, people are coming together in love and harmony, thereby conveying a powerful message of brotherhood. Eid serves as an inspiration for mutual brotherhood for the entire society.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Bhagwant Mann announced that the government would soon lay the foundation stone for a medical college in Malerkotla. He added that several other development projects are also being undertaken in the city. Malerkotla MLA Mohammad Jamil Ur Rahman welcomed the Chief Minister.
People Gather Early in the Morning to Offer Prayers in Malerkotla
Before Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s arrival, a large number of people from the Muslim community had gathered at the Eidgah in Malerkotla to offer their Eid prayers. MLA Mohammad Jamil Ur Rahman stated that Eid is a festival of mutual brotherhood; it is a time when people embrace one another to resolve their differences and move forward together.
