Mohali: Bhagwant Mann was admitted to Fortis Hospital on Sunday due to ill health but is now stable and recovering, according to a health bulletin issued by the hospital on Tuesday night.

Hospitalization Details

The Chief Minister visited Fortis Hospital on February 16 for a routine check-up after experiencing increased fatigue. He was admitted for rest and treatment under close medical supervision. His condition has since improved, and he is being cared for by a team of doctors.

The CM’s health reportedly deteriorated on February 15 in Sangrur. On that day, he visited the Shri Rankeshwar Mahadev Shiva Temple in Dhuri to offer prayers, along with party leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, and participated in a havan ceremony. A planned visit to Fazilka was cancelled due to his condition, though he attended a rally in Moga on February 16 before being hospitalized.

On February 17, Fortis Hospital received a bomb threat via email. The Superintendent of Police, City, Dilpreet Singh, confirmed that the email was sent to a school’s email address. Police teams conducted a thorough investigation, and all nearby schools were checked to ensure the safety of students and staff. The threat was found to be fraudulent.
