Jhota was murdered inside a medical store in Mansa
Parvinder Singh Jhota was known for raising his voice against the alleged illegal sale of drugs at medical stores. He was shot dead inside a medical store located in a busy market in Mansa, Punjab on October 13.
According to available information, Jhota had allegedly questioned the sale of drugs to an elderly man. During this time, the medical store owner, Ashwani Kumar, is accused of shooting Jhota.
Following the murder, Jhota’s family demanded a fair and thorough investigation into the case. They stated that the investigation should be handed over to the CBI.
Shot during Facebook Live
Jhota was reportedly on Facebook Live when he was shot. The incident occurred during a dispute over alleged drug sales inside a medical store.
