Temperatures in Punjab continue to rise. The monsoon completely departed the state yesterday. Following this, temperatures will now rise. It is estimated that night temperatures will gradually decrease, while daytime temperatures will continue to rise. Meanwhile, there is no sign of rain in the state.
According to the Meteorological Center, the state’s temperature has increased slightly by 0.2 degrees in the past 24 hours. However, this temperature is 2.1 degrees above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the highest daytime temperature was recorded in Faridkot, at 37.5 degrees.
The city’s minimum temperature is also 2.6 degrees above normal, hovering around 22 degrees.
Temperatures will rise by up to 2 degrees
According to the Meteorological Center, after the monsoon’s departure, the weather is becoming drier and humidity is decreasing. The state’s maximum temperature will increase by 2 degrees over the next three days.
Additionally, the minimum temperature will decrease over the next three days. The minimum temperature may drop by 1 degree. However, there is no rain forecast in the coming days. According to the forecast, there will be no rain in Punjab until October 1st.
