130 Medical officers to be appointed by Punjab Govt under NHM

The Punjab government has decided to appoint 130 medical officers under the National Health Mission. It includes many specialists including gynecologist, medicine, psychiatry, anesthesia. This process will be completed by February 28. While these specialists will take up their work from the month of March.

The government had sought a list of specialists from all the hospitals. A decision will be taken on this. As information, its tender has been issued in newspapers. Let us tell you that through this the Punjab government is trying to meet the shortage of doctors in Community Health Centers (CHCs). So that the people of Punjab do not face any problem. There is a shortage of 72 percent doctors in community health centers.

Many others will be recruited including 37 pediatric doctors

According to the information received, this recruitment is being done by the National Health Mission Punjab. Which includes 37 pediatrics, 31 medicine, 29 gynecology, 15 radiology specialists, 14 general surgery and 4 psychiatry. All of them will be deployed in CHCs of Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Sangrur, Mohali, Bathinda, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mansa and other districts.

Let us tell you that there is a special shortage of these doctors in every district of the state. Due to this, this decision has been taken. Let us tell you that after the defeat in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab has started working rapidly in every field.
