Batala: A youth aged 18 dies due to overdose of drugs at Choudhriwal Village Under Sri Hargobindpur, Batala. The deceased youth has been identified as Kanshi Masih. While giving information his mother told that her son, aged 18 worked in a company.
Yesterday when he came back to village from the company went out of the house as soon as he came. Later in the evening the villagers told the family that their son was lying intoxicated in the bushes. Family picked their son and brought him home where he died after some time. The family suspects that their son died due to overdose of drugs.
Family of the deceased also appealed government to take strict action on drug peddlers so that youth don’t fall prey to drugs.
