9 officers and employees of Shahkot Police honored by Madhya Pradesh Police

9 employees of Shahkot Police in Jalandhar, Punjab, were honored by the officer of Madhya Pradesh Police. Shahkot DSP Omkar Singh Barar has shared information in this regard. The 9 officers include the names of other employees, including the in-charge ofthe  police station Shahkot.

DSP Shahkot Omkar Singh Barar said , “On June 1, the police of Jaitpur police station of Madhya Pradesh informed Shahkot police station SHO Balwinder Singh Bhullar that a case was registered under the Arms Act in Jaitpur police station of Madhya Pradesh, under which a case was registered against two accused. Whose names are Jagwinder and Veerpal Singh and they are residents of Shahkot police station.”

Arms smugglers handed over to MP Police

These accused were arrested under the Arms Act and escaped from police custody. When our police party came to know about this, 9 employees together caught the said accused and handed them over to the Madhya Pradesh Police.

These employees include Inspector Balwinder Singh Bhullar, ASI Mandeep Singh, ASI Harnek Singh, HC Santokh Singh, Constable Jagdeep Singh, Rajdeep, Manpreet, Jagjit, and Bikramjit Singh. Taking further action in this matter, another case was registered at Shahkot police station. The police also recovered two weapons. Appreciation letters were distributed to all our policemen by Madhya Pradesh cadre IPS Dharmaraj.
