AAP expels Amritsar North MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh for 5 years

Chandigarh, June 29: In a major political move, the Aam Aadmi Party has suspended Amritsar North MLA and former IG Kunwar Pratap Singh from the party for five years. The decision was taken in the party’s political affairs committee meeting, in which strict action was taken against him for being found involved in anti-party activities.

According to sources, Kunwar Vijay Pratap had recently raised questions on the ongoing vigilance investigation against senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Vikram Majithia. He had criticised the government on public forums for this action, which the party considered against its ideology.

Aam Aadmi Party has given a clear message that the fight against drugs will not be allowed to weaken under any circumstances and any political interference or opposition will not be tolerated in this campaign.
