Abohar: In Abohar, City One police officer has arrested two members of the gang involved in bike theft incidents in the city.
Police have achieved great success in recovering 14 bikes stolen from the city and surrounding areas based on the information given by the arrested accused.
In this case, DSP Arun Mundan told in a press conference that City One in-charge Maninder Singh and his team arrested Gurjant Singh, son of Jeevan Singh, resident of Kacha Seed Farm, with stolen Hero Splendor and registered a case against him under sections 303(2) and 317(2) of the BNS.
After rigorous interrogation, Boota Singh, son of Joginder Singh, resident of village Khyaliwala Tehsil Zira District Ferozepur, was arrested. 14 stolen bikes have been recovered on his information during police interrogation. He informed me that a case is already registered against Buta Singh in the City Jagraon District Ludhiana in the year 2023.
