Dera Baba Nanak: By-elections are going to be held soon in Punjab on November 20, but before that, the Election Commission of India has ordered the removal of DSP of Dera Baba Nanak. According to the information received, a few days ago, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Lok Sabha member from Gurdaspur, had filed a complaint accusing DSP Dera Baba Nanak of helping gangsters. Today, the Election Commission of India took action and issued orders to remove DSP Jasbir Singh from the post. He has been released from his duties, as per reports.
The Election Commission of India has demanded a panel of qualified officers for the post of DSP Dera Baba Nanak. DSP Jasbir Singh was accused of helping gangsters, on which this action has been taken and there was a demand to remove him from the post immediately. MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has complained about the involvement of DSP Jasbir with gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
