As per directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and DGP Gaurav Yadav, the Punjab Police have launched Operation CASO to nab drugs, bad elements and to stop criminal activities.
Under the directions of SSP Moga Ajay Gandhi, the police launched a CASO operation in three villages of Nihal Singh Wala constituency. In this, 35 houses were searched. About 84 employees were present in this CASO operation. The three villages were cordoned off and searched.
Giving information at the same time about search operation, SP Special Crime Sandeep Vadera said that in order to nab bad elements and eliminate drugs from Punjab, a search operation was launched in the villages of Buttar, Rania and Raonke of Nihal Singh Wala constituency under the directions of DGP Punjab and SSP Moga Ajay Gandhi and 35 houses were searched.
Search was conducted at the houses of people against whom cases have already been registered.
He said that about 84 employees were present during this operation. At the same time, he said that the search operation is still ongoing and if any breakthrough is found, information will be provided.
