Chandigarh: BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will come to Chandigarh today before the mayoral and Lok Sabha elections in the city. He will meet the workers at the party office in Sector 33. According to sources, there is a lot of discussion on Nadda’s arrival in view of the mayoral election to be held this month.
A few hours before Nadda’s arrival, BJP Chandigarh state president Jitinder Pal Malhotra announced the core committee of Chandigarh BJP after discussing with the party high command.
Apart from state president Jatinderpal Malhotra, MP Kiran Kher, former president Sanjay Tandon, Arun Sood, mayor Anup Gupta, vice president Ramveer Bhatti, general secretary Hukam Chand and Amit Jindal are included in it.
Apart from these, National Vice President Saudan Singh, In-charge Vijay Rupani and General Secretary Organization Minister Srinivaslu have been included as special invitee members.
