According to the information, an Alliance Air Company flight was to take off from Bathinda to Delhi at 3:30 pm yesterday, but it could not take off even till 8 pm. Passengers who reached the airport after 8 p.m. were informed about the cancellation of the flight. After this information, there was a stir among the passengers waiting for the flight at the airport. The passengers who had to catch a flight abroad from Delhi had to face the most trouble.
It is said that about two dozen passengers had to catch a flight to Delhi, some of whom were going abroad. But they had to face a lot of trouble due to the sudden cancellation of the flight. After this, people had to cancel their flights going abroad from Delhi. It is said that only the flight of Alliance Air Company coming from Delhi goes back, but even till 8 pm, it could not reach Bathinda from Delhi.
Passengers like Alas Arora, Manpreet Singh, Balwinder Singh, and Gurkirat Singh, residents of Bath, said that the airport authority told them about the cancellation of the flight when they reached the airport. The airport authority told them that the flight had been cancelled. They were to take international flights from Bathinda to Delhi and from Delhi airport, but due to the cancellation of the flight from Bathinda, they had to cancel their international flights. The passengers said that they had suffered huge financial losses and could not reach Delhi on time.
