Ambulance with patients from Jammu collides with stationary truck in Dasuha; 1 dead, 5 injured

Dasuha: An ambulance with patients from Jammu to Ludhiana collided with a stationary truck parked in Dasuha. In the accident, the woman in the ambulance died while 5 people were injured, out of which 3 have been referred to Ludhiana. According to the information received, an ambulance collided with a truck on the Jalandhar-Pathankot National Highway around 3 am.

The collision was so terrible that the woman in the ambulance died while 5 others have been reported injured who were rushed to the government hospital in Mukerian Dasuha while Amit and 2 others injured in the accident have been referred to Ludhiana.

The ambulance driver also sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at the Mukerian Civil Hospital.

Giving information about the accident, Sunil and the driver Arun in the ambulance said that they had left for Ludhiana with the patient from Bakhshi Nagar Hospital in Jammu at around 9 o’clock last night. Meanwhile, around 3 am, the ambulance went out of control and hit the back of a parked truck.

As soon as the accident was reported, the ambulance of the concerned area reached the spot. Seriously injured Amit and others were taken out of the ambulance and taken to Dasuha and Mukerian hospitals where the doctors declared the woman dead. At present Dasuha police has taken possession of both the vehicles and started action in this case.
