Amritsar: Alert troops of BSF Punjab recovered two drones and two heroin packets near the Punjab border.
On December 16, 2024, troops of BSF Punjab recovered a DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone along with 01 packet. The Gross weight of the recovered packet was around 530 grams. It was found from a farming field adjacent to village Kotrazda of district Amritsar.
The narcotics packet was found wrapped with yellow adhesive tape with a steel ring and one illuminating light attached to it.
In second incident, on the information of the BSF intelligence wing, BSF troops recovered 01 DJI Air 3S drone along with 01 packet of heroin (Gross weight- 560 Grams) from a farming field adjacent to the village- Daoke of Amritsar district.
It was wrapped with yellow adhesive tape, the packet also had 01 iron ring and 02 illumination strips attached to it.
BSF’s vigilance and swift action successfully thwarted these smuggling attempts and foiled cross-border illegal activities.
