The series of threats to bomb the Golden Temple in Amritsar continued for the sixth day. At night, a threat was given once again on the SGPC email. This is the eighth time in the last 6 days that an email has been received to damage the Golden Temple.
Meanwhile, security arrangements have been tightened at the Golden Temple. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee task force is also ready inside the Golden Temple.
Govt failed to reach real culprits: Jathedar
At the same time, Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj of Sri Akal Takht Sahib has raised questions on the state and central security agencies. He said that the governments have failed to reach the real culprits. He has demanded that the culprit who threatened the Golden Temple be presented before the Khalsa Panth as soon as possible.
He said that despite the availability of technology and resources, it is surprising that the real culprit has not been identified till now.
The Golden Temple is a spiritual and common place for the entire humanity, where thousands of devotees come to pay obeisance every day. He warned that the motive behind the continued threat emails must be thoroughly investigated.
