Amritsar ICICI bank loot solved: Amritsar police arrest 3 accused with looted cash and pistols  

Amritsar: In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police has solved the gunpoint bank heist within hours with manhunt across Punjab & Haryana.

This case of robbery in ICICI Bank was registered by Malik Singh, Relationship Manager, ICICI Bank, on the afternoon of 06-04-2024, 3 accused entered the bank, one of whom was carrying a revolver. Over Rs 12 lakh were looted on gunpoint from the cashier. A case was registered in Police Station B-Division, Amritsar. 

As per the Instructions issued by the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, to take action against the bad elements under Zero Tolerance team of Inspector Sukhbir Singh, Chief Officer Police Station B-Division apart from various teams of CIA Staff-1, 2 and 3 achieved great success in arresting the 03 accused who robbed the bank.

CP Amritsar said that the police teams investigated the case from all aspects and 03 accused who carried out the robbery in the bank identified as  Suraj aged 22 years, Inderjit Singh alias Sazan, aged 19 years, Prince alias Shera aged 32 years all three residents of Sultanwind. Road, Amritsar were arrested. Out of money looted Rs 07,70,000, 01 pistol .30 bore including 05 rounds and 01 dummy pistol have been recovered from them.
