Online sex racket busted in Mumbai: 28-year-old man arrested, woman rescued

The case of arresting international kabaddi player Gurlal Singh by the Amritsar Rural Police has come to light. It is being told that 5 more of his associates are still absconding and are being searched. The police have taken this action in a case of demanding ransom.

They had called a doctor from Bhilowal village under Lopoke police station and demanded a ransom of 30 lakhs, but when the doctor did not give the money, they opened fire outside the doctor’s house on June 4.

After this, the police, while investigating the case, arrested Gurlal Singh, a resident of Sohal village in Tarn Taran district, and recovered an illegal 30-bore pistol from him. Apart from Gurlal, three of the five people wanted by the police are also kabaddi players. Police have assured that soon arrest of other accused in the matter will be made.
