Tarn Taran: Tarn Taran Police achieved big success as police seized arms and ammunition along with hawala money. The seizure was made by Tarn Taran police who in joint operation with the central agency lead to big seizures. The preliminary information about the same has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on his X handle.

In a major breakthrough, Tarn Taran Police in a joint operation with central agency led to seizure of 4 Glock-19 pistols. The one pistol out of four has imprint of ‘MADE FOR NATO ARMY’ on it. Police also seized 4 magazines, 7 rounds & ₹4.8L Hawala money.
Police also arrested one accused, arms smuggler namely Harpreet Singh. Harpreet Singh has links with Pakistan-based smuggler.
Investigations on-going by the Police to establish backward & forward linkages in the matter.
