Dhuri, July 20: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will visit his assembly constituency Dhuri today. During this, he will inaugurate new libraries. Apart from this, the CM will also distribute aid to various institutions and organizations. Preparations for his program have started. Last day, CM Mann dedicated 8 libraries to the public in Barnala.
Syllabus books will also be provided
Libraries are being set up in all the assembly constituencies by the state government. The purpose behind this is to connect the youth with books. These libraries are completely hi-tech. CM Bhagwant Mann has announced that syllabus books will also be made available in these libraries, so that the youth who are unable to study at home or are unable to buy books, can also get a proper opportunity to study.
This project is to build 197 libraries
This project was started by CM Bhagwant Mann from Khanna on 15 August 2024. Under this, there was a plan to build 197 ultra modern libraries, out of which more than 136 libraries have been completed. Facilities like Wi-Fi internet, solar energy based electricity, digital reading are available in these libraries. These include modern literature, educational material and resources related to competitive examinations.
