Kapurthala: Bharatiya Kisan Union Kadia protested against the action taken against Kulwinder Kaur, a CISF woman jawan who slapped Kangana Ranaut, the newly elected MP from Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal. A demonstration was held at the administrative complex of Kapurthala by the Bharatiya Kisan Union Kadia and a memorandum was given to the DC and SSP of Kapurthala demanding cancellation of the police action taken against Kulwinder Kaur.
Leaders and supporters of the Kisan Union gathered at the district administrative complex and demonstrated and raised slogans against the central government. Jasbir Singh, head of Kisan Union Kadia, said that a case should be registered against Kangana Ranaut and her personal secretary. He also said that this incident has happened due to the abusive words spoken by Kangana Ranaut against the farmers.
