Apart from this, discussions about Vikram Chaudhary leaving the Congress have also intensified. It is believed that Vikramjit Chaudhary may join another party. Currently, he has resigned from the post of whip.

In fact, all this clash has been witnessed regarding the vying for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat. Former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has submitted his candidature to contest Lok Sabha elections from this constituency. While the Chaudhary family is fighting it. Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, wife of late Santokh Singh Chaudhary, is presenting her claim.

But Charanjit Singh Channi is leading in this race. According to the information received from the sources, Charanjit Singh Channi has also rented a house in Jalandhar and has also made his residence in Jalandhar. On the other hand, Vikram Chaudhary’s displeasure clearly shows that Charanjit Singh Channi can be the Congress candidate from the Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency.

Congress has not cleared the picture regarding the Jalandhar seat yet, but discussions have intensified that Channi is the front runner in this race. Today, the Congress High Commissioner may also announce the names of Lok Sabha candidates in Punjab.
